Paul Engler

Chairman of the Board

Paul F. Engler is the founding chairman of Cactus Feeders Inc., the world's second largest cattle feeding company.

The company finishes slightly over one million cattle per year. Mr. Engler is also the founder and chairman of Pablo Energy I and II, exploration and production oil and gas companies headquartered in Amarillo, Texas. Pablo Energy's current activities are centred on a 28,000 acre mineral lease in the Woodford Shale play in South Central Oklahoma. Twenty seven gas wells have been drilled and completed with excellent production results. Pablo Energy also has a 50% interest in a “captive” gas gathering and processing plant in partnership with Enogex, a wholly-owned gas gathering subsidiary of Oklahoma Gas and Electric.

Paul graduated in 1951 from the University of Nebraska's College of Agriculture with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics · and received a Distinguished Alumni Award in 2001. He recently was inducted into the National Livestock Hall of Fame and received an Industry Advancement Award from the American Meat Institute in 2006. He resides in Amarillo, Texas and has maintained a home in the Virgin Islands for eight years, having resided there from 1999 through 2004.
